A Gift for You
Dear Writers,
Cast your mind back to August of last year, if you can. Mosquitoes were biting; humidity was humid…ing. Brett and Sam were just releasing season one of the podcast.
In episode four of this season, the guys encouraged you in good habits, both in work and in rest. Brett mentioned one simple way to get started in writing consistently: writing one hundred words every day, for a hundred days in a row.
We thought some of you might like to undertake this little challenge, and we wanted to help you! So today we’re sending you a free printable tracker. You can check our math: we’ve got one hundred little circles for you to fill in, one per day, for as long as you keep writing. Maybe you’ll make it past the one hundred days! In that case, you can print as many copies as you’d like.
We’re big believers in the power of small, repeated actions. As our quote below says, “excellence is a habit.” A writer who writes a little bit every day will always write more than a writer who writes a large amount every once in a while.
So what are you waiting for? Get started today. It’s only one hundred words.
Do you have a friend who would do this challenge with you? Forward them this link so they can subscribe, too!
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” -Aristotle
